Monday 20th July

Open Evening. Please visit your child's current class to see samples of their work from this year. Then visit your child's new classroom to meet their new teacher.

Tuesday 21st July

Please send your child to school with strong bags to put their exercise books from the year in, to bring them home.

Wednesday 22nd July

School closes at 1.15pm.

Please collect your child from their normal classroom door at 1.15pm.

Summer Diaries

As in our tradition, we are sending home and exercise book with every pupil inviting them to complete a diary or journal during the holidays. We have shared ideas in previous years suggesting a variety of 'scrapbook' and diary styles ranging from full descriptive writing to simple pictures and captions, or labelled collectables such as postcards or tickets. We have emphasised this is for the children only to write in - at their own level. Every child will be awarded a certificate to acknowledge that they have produced a journal or diary and we shall have prizes in each class for the 'most regular diary-writer' and also the best 'book' that has been created - again to be the children's own work!

The diaries will be sent home on Friday 17th July 2026 and the completed ones returned to school for judging on Friday 4th September 2026.
